Managed IT operations for organizations across a range of industries, including a traditional software company transitioning to a SaaS model, a medical distributor, offshore construction, and local government. At the SaaS provider, responsibilities included overseeing production and disaster recovery hosting, internal infrastructure, vendor management, budgeting, capacity planning, application installation and maintenance, SQL Server setup and administration, system and application monitoring, and SOC auditing. Worked closely with the development team to resolve infrastructure-related application issues and collaborated with external customers to troubleshoot performance and connectivity problems.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, LA.

2019 – 2022, Director of IT, Palisade Company

Directed all facets of Palisade’s IT infrastructure.

While at Palisade we:

  • Migrated on-prem servers to cloud versions (Exchange to Microsoft 365 and technical support ticketing systems).
  • Implemented Microsoft Teams, consolidated several chat systems into one
  • Migrated internal documentation from Basecamp to SharePoint
  • Reorganized and secured AWS environment, implemented immutable backups through 3rd party vendor
  • Migrated on–prem phone system to a cloud-based system, consolidating several systems in three countries into one US based service
  • Moved all clients to an Active Directory domain and we are currently moving to Azure Active Directory
  • Implemented MDR on all endpoints, replacing 5 different anti-virus and security solutions
  • Instituted monthly vulnerability scans against our internet facing system
  • Implemented security training and employee phishing testing
  • Implemented remote management tools to support our users

2014 – 2018, Director, Data Integration, Premier, Inc.

Premier acquired Aperek in 2014

Provided leadership, strategic, and operational oversight regarding processes and initiatives involving ERP data migration which includes data acquisition, cleansing, mapping, and conversion.

Served as the core data migration liaison to customers, implementation, and support staff with regard to customer ERP data acquisition, cleansing, and conversion. This includes oversight of current and future initiatives around flexible data migration from member’s legacy ERP systems to the Premier ERP solution. Directly responsible for ensuring that ERP clients’ data is converted in a timely manner as well as cleansed and balanced to an appropriate level and standard.

2000 – 2014, Director of IT, Aperek (previsouly named MediClick)

Management of IT for a software company / Software as a Service vendor, responsible for production and DR hosting, internal infrastructure, vendor management, budgeting, capacity planning, application installations and maintenance, SQL Server setup and administration, monitoring for server and applications, SOC auditing.

1996 – 2000 – Director of IT, Global Software, Inc.

Global Software was an ERP software and services company supporting multiple industries. Oversaw a diverse IT environment that included mainframes, midrange systems, networks, and desktops. Led initiatives to consolidate network operating systems, upgrade infrastructure, and standardize IT processes company-wide. Also directed the infrastructure separation during the spinoff of Global Software’s operations to Aperek.
